More than just a second-hand clothing store, La Gaillarde is the go-to spot for ecofashion in Montreal. Located in the heart of St-Henri district, our mission is to promote and support local eco-designers, to raise awareness towards environmental issues and to reduce textile waste by promoting the reuse and recycling of garments.
Products and services
In addition to offering a wide range of recycled and organic clothing from local designers and unique vintage clothing and accessories for men and women, La Gaillarde also organizes monthly events, clothing swaps and fashions shows.

Monday and Tuesday: 10AM to 6PM
Wednesday to Friday: 11AM to 7PM

La Gaillarde is a non-profit eco-fashion boutique with a mission to dress everyone in style while reducing textile waste and promote local eco-designers.
You can become a member to support La Gaillarde's mission. Purchase a membership card for $10/year and obtain many privileges:

Clothing drop off
La Gaillarde accepts all donations of clothing and accessories. Your donation will contribute to our environmental mission.

Promoting responsible consumption – La Gaillarde’s team is passionate about teaching consumers about the impact of their purchases on society and the environment.
Supporting local ethical fashion designers – La Gaillarde offers designers a unique and well-established retail venue for their products. Our team works actively to develop, supervise, and promote Quebec eco-designers to consumers and the media in order to put ethical fashion in the limelight.
Giving a second life to forgotten clothes – Donations of clothing, accessories and fabric from individuals and businesses are sorted, selected and either made available to the public in our boutique or recycled accordingly.
La Gaillarde participates in developing the neighbourhood and community. We promote more than 50 local eco-designers, have over 150 members, and are grateful to our countless volunteers.
Vintage
Our vast vintage and second-hand collection reveals the best pieces of times past…sumptuous dresses from the 50s, funky jeans, hand-beaded bags, and so much more waiting to be rediscovered. An authentic, quality vintage piece easily rivals the retro-inspired, disposable pieces that are so easily available in the market today in terms of uniqueness and durability. Every vintage piece at La Gaillarde is handpicked with love by our team.
Ecodesign
To update your chic and virtuous wardrobe, we offer recycled creations made in Quebec with inspiration of the moment. Guided by the team at La Gaillarde, local eco-designers benefit from our expertise and our services aimed at disseminating eco-glam fibers. This experience allows them to develop their potential and to respond appropriately to the needs of a flourishing market.
